Have you ever found yourself behaving like a Rhino?
No matter the direction, you say “I know!”
…
When we learn to be still,
and humbly surrender our will…
God will show us the right way to go.

Once they enter our lives,

and even after they’ve gone,

The tracks of their tiny paws,
become etched upon our hearts.
Help yourselves to some biscuits…

I don’t really need to add anything further, do you?
Well, except for cookies…

Isn’t it funny how many of us have our favorite color of those chocolaty treats, even though technically, they probably all taste the same?
I’ve begun learning how different a thing can seem, depending on the one who is looking at it! Thoughts, emotions, and a myriad of other things surrounding a person, shapes the way they perceive what they encounter.
Take, for instance, Mary and Martha… the two sisters that the bible speaks about in the gospel of Luke. As scripture tells it,
38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.[a] Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
I love both Mary and Martha, but in the light of how reading scripture is shaping my view of Jesus… I prefer to live like one M over the other.
F.Y.I., my favorite color is yellow… hugs

Good thoughts in, bad thoughts out!

Listen, everybody, don’t blame me for answering todays prompt, as I plan to. They need to learn to be more specific… writer… Duh!
With such a wide open question. I could run with it in several directions. The only parameters are that it has to be found IN a school, whether it be in the classroom, lunchroom, or on the soccer field. One has to then figure out if the question is referring to pre-school, elementary, middle school, high school, college or trade school, and don’t forget Sunday School.
Going further, let’s consider what falls under the term, Subject:
Google says “a person or thing that is being discussed, described, or dealt with.” While we can add the word School at the end, it still only narrows the field, somewhat.
If I’m to interpret the prompt’s query correctly,
What was my favorite person or thing being discussed, described, or dealt with… in any form of academia?
This girl is an avid reader, and have a deep love of learning. I was always an exceptional student in most academic subjects, aside from math and science, which I abhorred. School was always the place I wanted to be, far more than whatever foster home I was placed in at the time.

As an adult I enjoyed Modeling School, Bible Seminary, and several other Trade’s programs. I eventually went to community college and attained an AA Degree.
Under the new guidelines for answering the prompt, throughout any of the high school days, I would have to admit that Boys were my favorite subject…. shush, don’t judge!

Everything else is history…
No, really, my favorite subject actually turned out to be History.
Here, have a cookie…
