If I were going to open up any sort of shop, it would most certainly be a book store! I’ve even gone to the trouble of coming up with my store’s advertisement slogan.
I’d be dressed like Willy Wonka in a pirate hat, and this is what I’d sing…
Books, coffee, puzzles and treats…
Will pull all manner of folks off the streets!
Read a book, and have a snack…
I feel certain that you’ll be back!
Have some coffee, enjoy a tale…
If you like what you read, then it’s for sale!
Eat my cookies,
make new friends…

Maybe that’s what I should do once the store opens… I’ll stand outside the doorway, singing to all the folks passing by my shop. Wouldn’t it be funny if all businesses had to do that? A law gets passed, outlawing the use of public media to promote your shops… lol… the outrage! Hehehe
