It’s different for everyone, this feeling of nostalgia, brought about by a number of our physical senses… sometimes all at once, even!
Whether it’s a smell,
or a sound,
a memory,
or often times just a simple touch…
A human’s capacity to feel emotions of any kind comes from deep within the individual, starting at birth and continuing on for the rest of our lifetime.
All I know is that my personal sense of nostalgia arises from what I see, hear, smell and/or touch. Oh, and taste… always the taste of something blissfully yummy!
Speaking of yummy, here’s a cookie…
Now, from here on out, every time you eat a good cookie you’ll think of me… see… cookies = Nostalgia!
