For anyone that might be interested, Eustace is in the parking lot, ready to do some shopping cart races!
Don’t ask me how Eustace managed to get his neck through the bars of the cart… you’d have to ask the camel!
Just in case you didn’t bring your own, we’ve left some extra carts beside the elevators.

Honestly, I don’t have any travel plans on the table at the moment. In fact, I haven’t thought much further than a working toilet, or food in the cooler, ever since the shutdown.
Aside from the heaven that I know awaits me, I’m more focused on surviving than I am about fun in the sun on some beach.
Sure, I would like to travel and do all sorts of things, but I’m not putting any energy into daydreaming about things I don’t have, when I can be focusing on that which is being prepared for me, as we speak!
Heaven is where I’m bound, so my travel plans are full up!

This morning, I found myself playing around with my AI art generator. I’ve been trying to come up with some new babies for the short stories I like to write.
Wanna see em?
You can tell me which ones you like the most!
First up, we have Beulah the baby badger!

Next stop is a little baby Beluga/Dolphin, named Bella Donna!

Then I fell in love with Olivia, the baby river otter!

Just when I thought I was finished, I threw one last idea at my AI tool…
I think that this last one has to be my favorite, by far, but I want your opinions first, before I fully decide what direction to go.
Ladies and Gents, I would like to introduce you to Ozzy Clawzee, the baby Owl/Cat!

I’m not so sure that I’ve seen a baby so cute, for some time!
What do you guys think?

Right when I began reading today’s prompt question, our cheeky little neighbor came calling for his breakfast, so I snapped a quick picture of him.
It occurs to me that we should all take more time each day, intentionally slowing down, and appreciating all the little things… on purpose!
Modern society has become so dependent upon technology and moving ahead, we forget about the joy found in simple things, like feeding a wandering squirrel, just to watch him stuff his cheeks!

I thought I would share a song that I heard on Pandora this morning. Sometimes, I hear a song that stays with me for the whole day, often times visiting me within my dreams.
It’s kind of funny how a song will come to your mind, over and over, even causing you to sing it under your breath… whether you were thinking about it or not!
This is one of those songs!
You’re Welcome!
Happy Monday, everyone!

I bet this tightrope walker hears a lot of applause!

I don’t think this race car driver can hear anything, anymore.

My husband drove tractor trailers, and I know exactly what sounds he listened to all day, because I was with him. Truckers have potty mouths, mostly, and I don’t wanna talk about the things I heard inside those truck stops.

I’m guessing that farmers and outdoor workers hear all sorts of different things.
While I could do this all day long, I’ll go easy on everybody, mainly because I have work to do. What work is that, you ask? Why, I’m fake baking your morning cookies, and as per the prompt question, I am LISTENING to the pretend cookie timer going off… gotta go get em!
That was fast!
Here, have a cookie…

I upgraded my pretend Easy Bake Oven!

I simply have to share this with you! I nearly laughed myself out of my own chair this morning, when I was working with my AI for a picture.
Here is what I typed,
“A very tall man looking down at a turtle, resting beneath the man’s shadow.”
I don’t think I have ever met such a nice looking turtle in all my days… LOL!
My attempt had been to reflect on resting beneath God’s shadow, but somewhere along the lines, things went very wrong!
I’m so glad that God has a good sense of humor, because I can no longer even remember what all I was going to write, now that I have muscly turtle’s in my head… LOL!
Have a laugh on me, and also, enjoy your Sunday, everyone… hugs.

I have been known to bake some rather yummy sour dough loaves, than I then pull out all the insides, turning them into edible bread bowl!
From there, it’s whatever the mood requires for comfort.
Sometimes, it’s some really thick and creamy Clam Chowder, with big chunks of potatoes and clams!

Other times, I feel the need for a little bit of my mamma’s homemade Chili… not too spicy, with a little sweet! Mmmmmm Mmmmmmmm!

There are those occasions, however, when it’s very cold and stormy outside, and I need some deep comfort, I’ll whip up pot of Broccoli Cheddar.

Remember all the guts of the bread loaves that I scooped out?
Well, I spread them on a cookie sheet, sprinkle some garlic salt, and other spices all over them, finally placing them in the oven to crisp. That is what makes all the soups comforting, if you want the truth!

Today, I’ve selected a cookie that always goes with the above mentioned comfort soups.
My famous Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip cookies!
If I told you what I make them with, you would need to enter a witness protection program. They’re that good!

So, here’s the scoop! I had such delusions of grandeur, in regards to eating like I was Templeton the rat, and energetically jaunting all over the great city of Seattle.
Here’s what I forgot… I’m not 20 years old anymore, in fact, I’m far from it!
Did I even think to take all those pictures that I bragged I would?
Ha! Double Ha!
While we did have a really wonderful day, this is more of what it looked like,
We went, we saw, and we took the town… our speed!
I never got around to taking any pictures because I was busy rubber necking all day, from the scenic train rides to people watching… and this morning, my neck is telling me about it!
It took three different trains, in order to conquer the Bite of Seattle, friends! First we caught the Sounder, then Lite Rail, and lastly, took the Monorail, just to get to Seattle Center.
Once there, the two of us shared exactly one, really yummy pulled pork sandwich covered in coleslaw, and a strawberry Ice-cream Mochi dessert, and then turned around and headed back for the train… lol!
But, I did see the funniest thing ever!
When we arrived at The Bite, we noticed how everyone had been buying these enormous baby bottles, filled with their favorite refillable drinks. Folks, there is nothing stranger than watching hundreds of grown adults walking around, sucking on baby bottles! Whoever designed the containers, even put the drinking straw right next to the giant nipple, on top of the bottle… no joke! I couldn’t bring myself to pay the $36 for a large one, which was what most people were doing, and then have to lug the giant drink container throughout the city of Seattle.
If you want to know the truth, I think we actually had more fun on all the train rides together, and then ending the day by buying ice-cream cones from McDonalds, on the way home!
Just sayin!
I did sleep like a baby last night! You wouldn’t believe all the stairs we had to climb. I wore myself out on all the stairs, as we traveled between all the different train connections.
All in all, it was a beautiful day spent with my favorite person.
Have a blessed weekend, everyone!
