I think we all feel a bit discombobulated during the days following Christmas, and leading up to the New Years celebrations.
Somewhere in there, we might attempt a few days of ridiculously unproductive work, though many opt to use up their vacation days in an attempt at recovery, of any sort!

Personally, I’m opting to lay low this week, letting the Christmas vibes flow…

2025 will get here when it gets here, so there’s no sense in hurrying, I say.
Enjoy your leftovers, and hopefully a quiet weekend.

Hugs

I’m kinda grateful we don’t have leftovers. And, I have school starting next week, so I’ve done *some* prep work for that, but otherwise it’s been pretty chill. Problem is: I can only do chill for so long!
Hope you’re enjoying your down time at least as much as I am 😏

We still have a New Year’s Eve birthday celebration and New Year’s Eve itself to enjoy. Then, just a few days later, we’ll celebrate Three Kings Day on January 6. After all the festivities, it will be time to take down the Christmas decorations and finally sit, relax, and recover.
Happy New Year to you.

Sounds good to me. I try to have those ‘do nothing days’ to ward off exhaustion.

Sleeping disorders are on the rise in our nation. To sleep well is truly a blessing many are craving for.
