Got things on the brain, today!
Editing is not for the faint hearted, if you were wondering, but I know that it’ll be worth it in the long run.
Editing a novel is a perfect example of the tortoise and the hare, because if I rush through the story too quickly, I’m sure to miss a good many things that need tending.
Tortoise it is!
That’s the truth.
I tell everyone the same thing. I’ve proofread and edited both my books probably five times each, maybe more, before sending them out for publication.
Even now, when I read the book or revisit a post to share it on WordPress, I still find things I wish I had left out or added.
The work is never truly finished, and we can’t rush through it.

I’m sure editing is overwhelming. Like they say, I do my best proofreading after I hit send.
