So… my husband nearly blew himself up several days ago… ya, no time for a back up plan kind of accident…
Remember our refrigerator went out and we had to get a new replacement… no worries… Visanni is OK! Long story short, while disconnecting from the old lines, he inadvertently punctured the Freon tank and it exploded in his face. By the grace of God alone, he is ok, other than smelling ammonia everywhere he goes. The part that rattled him the most was how fast it happened. He had no time to “adjust” to the situation… it was instant!!! That was how fast it happened and then it was done! Sometimes, there just are no contingency plans; no chance for a do over, or an undo button, if you will.
Aside from being eternally grateful that my husband is fine and God had him covered, I was left with a fresh reminder how very precious life is, and that there are NO guarantees. It can be so easy to become complacent or lazy regarding the time we are given, and what we do with it. Oddly enough, instead of feeling panicked that I had some list of unfinished good deeds, I felt no fear at all.
Point in fact, I felt encouraged to press on down the path set before me, knowing that I have full opportunity to do good every single day until I am called home. I have assurance of my future, no matter how much time is left in the here and now. I am choosing to not be shortsighted… I wanna go big till I go home!
I have also learned from this experience, that I do not kiss my husband nearly enough every day, and now I have made it my mission to pester him all the time with kisses, and more I love you’s, just to make sure he don’t fergit!!!
That is a horrible incident . Life is so precious. We have to cherish each moment. Thank God your husband is safe.. that is important

Very shocking incident. Thank God he is fine. God is great. Just to speak of ammonia, I know the pain. Accidentally when I was in the lab long time ago ammonia entered my mouth through a pipette. In fact it was 40 percent. But in a fraction of a second it removed mucous membrane from my mouth. I can imagine what a torture he had with gaseous. Wishing you all a very happy, pleasant life and great future.
