Describe one of your favorite moments.

If you are going to give a girl a question, she will need break it down…

Since I have way too many favorite moments to choose from, I decided to look at what makes all of those moments so Favorite!

I realized what made them all my favorite. It was the love within and surrounding them…

The birth of each of my daughters…

First introductions to each of my wonderful pets through my life, you know that moment of pure joy and puppy breath…yeah that!

Standing in flip flops in front of the local Sherriff exchanging vows with my best friend!

Christmas time around a tree, watching my children’s chubby little faces light up with wonder and excitement…

So, can I just say that LOVE is my number one favorite moment?

Well, I guess its too late now, since I just said it, so you’ll have to suck it up buttercup, cause LOVE it is…

What notable things happened today?

Well, I know that I got out of bed different. I am not who I was yesterday, nor even who I was last night as I drifted off to sleep…

I am pretty sure that I feel different than yesterday, so that is incredibly significant in the notable department…

I am going to be a completely and notably different soul tomorrow morning when I arise, as well…

What might be the most notable thing happening this morning is that it was not me who enabled my earthy body to wake at all! To rest through the dark hours of night, and awaken with a full heart is a gift to be treasured, so I guess that it would by my answer regarding what I consider notable…plus, it is only 6:30 and I still have half a cup of coffee to finish, so the world is still my oyster…

Oh, yeah… I did discover something else notable, for me at least!

I realized this morning during my time in study. Did you know that the book of Song of Songs is directly in the middle of the Bible? A love story for the ages/puts 50 shades of grey to shame story? I am quite sure that the one who breathed life into this book I carry with me, did this for a purpose… I wonder …

This is one of my ancestors, so I can say this out loud: She does not look like she EVER read anything happy! My family line are all a bunch of sour, bitter, and unfriendly folk, at least the only memories I hold of them seem that way unfortunately. I can totally hear her husband telling her, smile or something, this guy won’t be back through this way for at least a year so suck it up buttercup, I already paid him 4 chickens and a goat!

I think I look happier, so things are changing and that is NOTABLE…

Everybody knows about baby nose boops…

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

Spring!

Little ones that were trapped within the grips of winter emerge with such excitement for the outdoors…

Life is bursting in every direction we look…

The days begin to lengthen, and the warmth and life that the sun brings, stirs the heart with thoughts of back yard parties and trips to distant peaceful camping spots…

You have to know that there is really only one thing that spring shouts to me, above all else…

Photo by Vanderlei Longo on Pexels.com

He did not forget about me…

He did not do what He did, for me, for nothing…

He placed the sun and the moon…

He is that which makes things live and grow…

Every time spring arrives, it brings with it the sweet promise of new life, new birth, and new purpose…

The old is dead and gone, and the seeds planted spring up and bloom…

… I wonder if we see more rainbows in springtime than any other part of the year? Now I know that most should agree somewhat on the meaning of a rainbow, that is if we are looking in the same book…

Whatever your book, or material you formulate your ideas from, I welcome you to share with me… I love to share things with you, but I love it even more when you share some of you with me…

Don’t quote me, but, isn’t that what the word prompt questions are for? If it isn’t, well then, don’t I feel silly…NOT!

What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

Don’t believe me? Can you imagine living in our society today, working together, eating together, and subsisting together, without a Toilet? When my husband and I moved into our RV, we did alot of research to make an easier transition into the new lifestyle. Believe it or not, almost all of the websites made mention of how conversations with other RVers always ended up talking about the Throne! In the beginning of our adventure, we thought this was funny, and surely a piece of misinformation.

Wrong! Living in a moving house means that you are never sedentary. Your object is a fully self contained living, eating, sleeping, driving, working, playing, and yes going to the bathroom in house! The RV has no hard connection to any services, including water, electricity, and septic. This means we have to plug in for water and power and we are responsible for the maintainance and emptying of said septic system on a regular basis. There is no margin for error if any number of things go wrong, and they have!

With that in mind, I will not expand any more on my example, but I am sure you get the picture. I will leave it to you, then, to consider your present circumstances, and consider how easy or difficult it would be to remove your only source of bathroom assistance. If you are getting an uncomfortable feeling when you consider life without a toilet, then you will appreciate why I chose this as my luxury.

I Dare You…

When another soul makes the effort to speak words to you, do you make eye contact, do you attempt to connect, or are you to busy with “You”? Tough question, I know! I am not immune to selfishness, to having more on my mind about my things than the hearts of others. This is just a thought, but perhaps we should look up! Look up from ourselves, look up from our cell phones, look up from our lives, successes, failures, SELF!

I am daring to be different, not perfect, just different! I will go down that narrow path, and choose to look up! I need to stop looking at me, or I will miss the ones who need me to look into their eyes, to connect…

BE DIFFERENT!

I dare you!!!

If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

#Chatty Cathy

#Tonitalksalot

#Loudmouthfrog

#thundermouth

#crybaby

If you or I choose my tagline, the above words are of the like that surface. Unfortunately, the only taglines used for me have been similar to the above, but actually a bit harsher…

#Adulterer

#Whore

#Selfish

#Dirty

#Unlovable

#Liar

The other unfortunate part is that these are all true…

Thankfully God gave me a new tagline, His tagline! You cannot get one better…

Ima stick with this one, so deal with it!

Do You Remember…

Houses with Wheels

I have lived in many different styles of residence throughout my life, including what I refer to as houses with wheels.  I have mentioned in the past that I had issues with these, one of which was the utter freedom with which creepy crawlies could infiltrate my domicile.  Thought of a funny example the other day, cause remember, I am currently living in a 32-foot RV.  Call it a funny way for bringing back memories, but I was watching a livestream of my favorite gaming community, Neebs Gaming, and everyone in live chat started laughing about encountering spiders in the worst places.  From there, my mind went spinning backward to approximately 10 years ago…

I remember it being summertime, due to the fact that the heat was the cause for all our doors and windows being ajar.  My middle daughter and I had been out running errands, and I was the first to race to the bathroom!  I lived with a teenager, so I mean race!  I thought I had scored a big win as I sat down to do ma thang, but looking to the side for the toilet paper, I changed perspectives really quick!  Resting in comfort, directly upon my needed paper, was the biggest Wolf spider I had met, and there had been many (for another story).  I am not even going to attempt describing the absolute animalistic form I took while extracting myself from close proximity to the little demon. But I did make it to the bathroom door, just as my daughter arrived to investigate.  Later she told me it sounded like the toilet had fallen through the floor (another story for later).

I came up with the brilliant idea for dispatching the offending predator.  We were going to hit it with my running shoe from the doorway, that way there would be no one close enough to be eaten.  It sounded like a plan for heroic success and my daughter fully supported me, as I was the one with the shoe, and she was safely behind me.  The best way for me to explain it is to go play by play here…

I flung that running shoe with the expertise of a pro ball player, aiming directly for the roll of toilet paper, where the ravenous creature was planning our demise

Upon contact, both the running shoe… and the spider… came flying in slow motion back at us

We both screamed, tripped over each other, ran into the bathroom door, slamming ourselves into the same room with a man-eating demon intent on consuming us both…

Don’t be scared, it’s ok!  We got out!

Needless to say, my husband came home to find a broken bathroom door, a child busy texting our near-death experience to her friends, and a wife sporting a small doorjamb impression on her cheek, with a tale to tell…
