Well, 2026 is now upon us… and I don’t know about you, but I’m excited for this year!

Though I know it’s most likely due to my upcoming Meemaw duties, we’re hoping for a better year than last. My hubby is preparing to enter his next phase of education, which will be his Bachelor program for cyber security. I’m planning to come back strong with my health issues, now that I’ve parted ways with modern medicine. All I need is God, so I’m good!

There shall be no New Year’s resolution list, as I prefer to walk one day at a time without setting myself up for failure. Isn’t that’s really all those lists accomplish for most people?

I also refuse to publicly declare anything, as that almost assuredly will come back to bite me, in the end.

How about we all agree not to bother with those sketchy lists, and just look forward to blessings, beautiful surprises, and good will toward our fellow humans… well, that’s what I plan to do, anyways.
