I said no for a very important reason, by the way, as Kindness should never, ever, and under no circumstances be referred to as random…
Since when did it become a thing that we get to choose to do, and then tell others about it? I think that we have enough budding journalists and photographers out there capturing these things on camera. I typed in the word Kindness and the pictures poured in, so there is plenty of evidence, and that makes me smile.
Now, based on my explanation of why I will not answer the prompt, I will attempt to rewrite the prompt for myself…
Write about a random act of kindness you’ve seen someone do.
I love seeing when they start the pay it forward thing at many of the different drive thru’s… though, I would much prefer to see stories of pay it forward at the grocery store, or maybe a doctors office, but I guess that is not very realistic. I have actually had someone walk up and swipe their debit card for mine, when my card was declined… I mean, I know it was only a few dollars, but still…

I know it can be irritating and disruptive to traffic, when people stand at the off ramp, or at the entrance to the mall. It is very easy to judge, or even be offended at the way in which a person will seek help, but come on… how hard is it, if you have spare change or a buck in your pocket, to roll your window down and give… or here is a novel idea, how bout pulling over, getting out of your car and giving. I know, FEAR!

I am seeing it like a disease, of late… no one seems to trust anyone, always expecting the worse from others, and sometimes this is true I suppose, but not always… discernment is an important quality to attain. Perhaps if we had more of this skill, sprinkle it with a bit of wisdom, and of course, we gots ta add some Faith in there… maybe, just maybe, we can make a difference in the world around us.

Let’s turn things upside down, and start looking around. I want to seek out what is doable in the actual kindness department, and make a point to NOT just do it randomly… I think I am full up, on just doing things when I feel like it, cause I will be honest with you, I am a hooman bean…

IMA BEE BRAVE!
Yes, I am feeling sassy this morning… ergo all of my purposeful misspells and quirky word usage. Surely, you have noticed my passion for giving and being kind. There are so many of you out there, that give out of their hearts all the time, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you… this world still holds a great amount of hope, love, laughter and KINDNESS to be shared.
I am so glad you read to the end, because this is where all the cookies are…

**Dear WordPress Prompt writers, please take no offense at my rewrite of you thingie, but I couldn’t help myself. I am actually very grateful for your prompts, as they draw me out of my musings, and pull me into my creative side. Your questions always give rise to either my funny side, or the sassy one; bringing me to a place of thinking outside a box. Thank you, and please take one of the above cookies.**
You concluded it beautifully..”This world still holds a great amount of hope, love, laughter and kindness to be shared.” This is my take a way from your blog. I find all your blogs much interesting to read and re-read. In fact, they keep me waiting all through to get published.
Trust me, I hand pick my share of precious pearls out of your blog and preserve them like treasure.
God bless!!!
